Gitis Consolidates Financials and Production for Greater Efficiency and Lower Costs

Overview Gitis manufactures industrial O-rings using compression and injection molding presses and internal finishing, primarily for use in the automotive industry. The challenge was to replace an aging, internally-developed information management system to support rapid business growth; centralize and standardize data; integrate production and accounting processes; and centralize system operations and maintenance to improve efficiency. The company replaced a disparate, homegrown system with Oracle E-Business Suite, integrating and supporting Gitis' production scheduling, order entry, stock management, general accounting, and asset management processes.
