Galam Streamlines Manufacturing Processes and Improves Business Intelligence Reporting

Overview Galam was founded in 1940 and is Israel's leading manufacturer of fructose, glucose, and starch. The challenges were to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that can cope with the company's rapid growth, support mergers and acquisitions, and ease its international expansion; avoid having to process data manually from a variety of sources in order to produce management reports - this had become slow and cumbersome and hindered decision making; and improve business processes and control over business information. The company standardized on Oracle E-Business Suite as the companywide ERP platform and streamlined manufacturing processes, product trees, and stock management with the Oracle Process Manufacturing modules of Oracle E-Business Suite.
