Overview Borsa Italiana Group, founded in 1997 following the privatization of the stock markets, is responsible for the management, organization, and function of the Italian stock exchange. Borsa Italiana's main goal is to develop financial markets and to maximize their liquidity, transparency, competitiveness, and efficiency. The challenge was to centralize and normalize data to enable rapid compilation; support compliance with national and international laws; and guarantee the highest level of security. The company implemented Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Warehouse Builder, Oracle Workflow, and Oracle Discoverer to create a data warehouse that increases accuracy, accessibility, and security for data vital to the stock exchange.
