BSG Clearing Solutions Implements Reliable, Scalable Data Disaster Recovery Solution
Overview BSG Clearing Solutions GmbH was formed in 2005 with the sale of EDS Clearing House in Germany to US-based Billing Services Group (BSG). The company wanted to implement an efficient disaster recovery solution that distributes data to two separate business sites. The challenge was to provide high availability for systems managing business-critical processes, while simultaneously leveraging existing resources. Working with EDS Operation Services to implement Oracle Real Application Clusters, the company allowed integration of a large number of servers and storage facilities and delivered an enterprise-wide IT disaster recovery solution.
