Overview United Laboratories (Unilab) is a leader in the Southeast Asian pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, and its employees are served by Health Delivery Systems Inc. The clinic needed to replace its MS-DOS-based computing system with one that could manage 12,000 patient histories electronically, improve management reporting, and enable clinical staff to order services for patients quickly and effectively. As a solution the company deployed COMPlus which is part of an end-to-end healthcare management system built on the Microsoft .NET Framework and fully integrated with the Microsoft Office System.
