Games in Teaching About Mobile Information Systems - An Experience Report

Overview Given the increasing role of mobile computing and mobile information access, knowledge about these technologies is an important qualification for future computer scientists. Another important qualification is the ability to work as a team. This paper offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both areas through the distributed, collaborative development of a mobile game. The paper describes the goals, the set up and the results of the course and summarizes the experiences gained.
