AOK Systems GmbH Creates Foundation for Health Insurance Data Service

Overview AOK Systems GmbH develops complete SAP-based and individual IT solutions, focusing on statutory health insurance. The challenge was to establish a health insurance data service and provide up-to-date, interoperable administrative data on insured persons in accordance with the requirements laid down by Gematik, the organization responsible for telematics applications relating to the health insurance card. The company implemented Oracle Database and Oracle BPEL Process Manager to build a new service-oriented architecture as the backbone for AOK's health insurance data service.
