CipherCode: A Visual Tagging SDK

Overview This paper describes the design and implementation of a visual tagging SDK which can be used to create customized tags and tag decoders. Its aim is to extend the usability of visual tags by increasing the efficiency at which the tags are processed and by incorporating encryption. The SDK consists of three core components namely, the Tag Generator module, Image Enhancement module and the Tag decoder module. The efficiency and accuracy of the SDK was evaluated under varying light intensities and the results are presented in this paper.
