Understanding the XATANET ASP Model
Overview XATANET is a hosted service managed by XATA for private fleets. It provides many of the features of XATA's Op Center Fleet Management software suite, including the ability to automate DOT and state fuel tax reporting, as well as monitor and analyze fleet performance. The key difference between XATANET and other XATA solutions is that XATA itself hosts and manages XATANET applications for customers at its own site and maintains the customer databases associated with those applications. Customers access and use XATA applications over the Internet, although to customers with high-speed access, the application looks and acts as if it were locally based.
