Overview The Microsoft .NET Micro Framework extends the reach of Microsoft embedded solutions to smaller, less expensive, and more resource-constrained devices. Requiring only a few hundred KiloBytes (KB) of RAM and an inexpensive processor, the .NET Micro Framework was built from the ground up to let the developers build applications for embedded devices using familiar Microsoft Visual Studio development tools, the .NET object model, and the C# language.
