Overview OTP Bank Limited, the National Savings and Commercial Bank of Hungary, includes over 400 branches and almost a third of the nation's banking assets, making OTP the largest retail bank in the country. The bank wanted to upgrade an existing storage and retrieval system to provide greater capacity, faster data transfer, and enhanced disaster recovery capabilities. As a solution two mid-range 3430 storage subsystems from EMC Corporation that run on a pair of Unisys A19 enterprise servers using SRDF (Symmetrix Remote Data Facility) software for data protection via SCSI-2 wide adapter were deployed.
