Overview Providing property and casualty insurance protection for homes, autos, farms and businesses, Minnesota-based North Star Mutual Insurance has been in business since 1920. The company wanted to provide independent agents with new Web-based services to cut turnaround time on quotes and improve service. North Star Mutual deployed a Unisys ClearPath Plus Libra Model 590 server and developed a new Web-enabled insurance solution using Unisys Business Information Server decision support software and Internet Commerce Enabler Web-enablement solution.
