Unisys ClearPath: Building on a New Platform
Overview Unisys is moving to the next generation of ClearPath servers, which will be delivered on the x86 architecture, based on Intel Xeon processors. These systems will provide the RAS and manageability that customers have come to expect from the traditional ClearPath systems, but they will be leveraging technology being developed through a joint engineering partnership with NEC. The result of this partnership will be a common platform that will support the ClearPath operating environment and management tools as well as multiple operating systems, including Microsoft Windows and Linux.
