Finding Efficiency Through Consolidation

Overview The Central Administration Office for Exceptional Care (CAK-BZ) in The Hague was one of the first organizations to take the step of consolidating a multitude of operating systems within the IT environment into one Unisys ES7000 enterprise server. The objective was to create more flexibility and to simplify the complex management. CAK-BZ now makes use of two ES7000 servers, and the migration to Windows 2000 Datacenter Server is complete. Unisys implemented an Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment for CAK-BZ with two ES7000 enterprise servers and a Storage Area Network based on EMC and StorageTek technology, which will enable the organization to fulfill its statutory duties with the greatest possible efficiency.
