Invacare Europe Secures Critical Business Data

Overview Invacare Europe is one of the main European suppliers of homecare medical equipment. The group wanted to optimize daily consolidation of data on activity from all of Invacare's European subsidiaries. The challenge was to assure high availability of the consolidated data for better control of the business and support the increased volume of data and growing number of business applications needed to support the growth and development of the business. The company migrated to Oracle Database 10g with Real Application Clusters to consolidate data at a central site and establish an open source environment based on Linux from Red Hat.
