Anhui Maanshan Wannengda Chooses 3Com to Stay Competitive

Overview At the time the Anhui Maanshan Wannengda company installed its first 3Com Ethernet network in 1998, it had only two networked applications to support. Since then, the company has expanded with a consequent increase in PCs, added a range of business and administrative applications, and networked all aspects of its management and production activities. As demands on the network grew, the lack of available bandwidth caused bottlenecks, which often resulted in network congestion. Following a market investigation and analysis process that lasted more than six months, the company selected a 3Com solution.
