3Com Case Study: Acueducto (Columbia)

Overview Approximately 10 million people in and around the city of Bogota, Colombia rely on the Water and Sewage Company of Bogota (Acueducto) for the provision of drinking water. Acueducto is implementing a SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution with an Oracle database and a Sun Microsystems enterprise platform. It will have six domains and one clustered domain, three to process applications and the other four to support databases. As a solution Acueducto decided to upgrade to a 3Com solution that will allow them to take better advantage of their new environment.
