Ensuring Availability of Business Critical Application

Overview By combining commodity servers running Linux or Windows 2000 with High Availability (HA) clustering solutions, businesses can realize significant cost savings over legacy proprietary solutions without sacrificing any application availability. There are a number of HA solutions available today. The process of evaluating them and choosing one that meets the business objectives is simplified if a person knows a few key points about high availability and has correctly identified the business availability needs.
