Introducing Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007
Overview The goal of Microsoft's System Center Operations Manager 2007 is to meet both of these requirements. The successor to Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005, the product is focused on managing Windows environments, including desktops, servers, and the software that runs on them. It can also be used to manage non-Windows systems and software, devices such as routers and switches, and more. Released in early 2007, Operations Manager aims at providing a solution for monitoring and managing a Windows-oriented computing world.
