IBM Cluster Systems Management for AIX 5L and Linux: A Powerful New Solution for the IT Administrator
Overview CSM is a fully integrated suite of tools that enable the efficient systems management of large numbers of servers in distributed and clustered environments. CSM was developed by the same organization that produced the IBM RS/6000 SP system and leverages the rich heritage of ten years experience in delivering some of the largest clusters in the world. The management server must be a pSeries system running AIX 5L v5.2 when running a cluster of AIX and Linux servers. It can be a stand-alone pSeries machine or an LPAR of a pSeries server. Managed nodes can be supported pSeries machines running AIX 5L v5.2 or AIX 5L v5.1 or a supported Linux distribution.
