Overview As part of its goal to grow market share from 32% to 50% by 2010, Lekis needed to identify a hardware platform that would optimise the performance of its latest solution upgrade, critical for market uptake. In addition, it was keen to increase the efficiency of managing its customers' IT infrastructures and to speed PC problem resolution. As a result, it wanted to evaluate the performance of its software on Intel vPro technology-based PCs and Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor-based servers. The Intel vPro technology-based PCs and Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor-based servers handled the new computationally intensive Lekis software with ease while technicians were often able to diagnose and repair PCs without the need for expensive and time-consuming desk-side visits.
