Why Clinical Development Teams Should Care About Data Standards - Part II: The Inner Workings of the ODM

Overview The CDISC Operational Data Model (ODM) was originally designed to provide a standard for the interchange and archive of clinical trial data. CDISC has employed this extension mechanism in the Case Report Tabulation Data Definition Standard (CRT DDS, also known as define.xml) to provide the means by which submission metadata can be transmitted to the FDA in a machine readable, XML format. This webcast is designed for those seeking a deeper understanding of the ODM extension mechanism and the inner workings of define.xml. It will also provide details of two new extensions to support the submission of clinical trial data and the World Health Organisation (WHO) clinical trial registry.
