Achieving Business Value and Gaining ROI With CA's EITM Software for Optimizing IT Infrastructures

Overview This paper presents the results of an IDC study, sponsored by CA, to quantify the benefits, cost savings, and Return On Investment (ROI) that customers can achieve using CA's Enterprise IT Management (EITM) software products to help manage their IT infrastructure and operations. The study is based on standard IDC ROI methodology, which is used to calculate the costs of performing common IT administrative, operational, and support functions (both before and after implementing management software); determine the cost savings resulting from implementing the software; and calculate a return on investment based on cost savings, gains in IT efficiency, and gains in user productivity.
