A Focus on Intelligence: Oracle's Renewed BI Strategy

This need for agility has spurred enterprises to invest in business analytics (which includes Business Intelligence (BI) tools, analytic applications, and the data warehousing platform). Oracle is again the market share leader, according to IDC figures, of what is now an $18 billion business analytics market. Oracle has a wide lead in the platform segment of this market - where Oracle supports data warehouse implementations from small to very large. But Oracle's offering in business analytics is also broad, encompassing a wide range of BI tools and analytic applications.
