Application of JP1/Software Distribution (SD) for Advanced Desktop Management System in Hebeibranch of Bank of China (HBBC)
Overview Established in 1976, HBBC, which holds 627 business network nods and an asset size of 120 billion with embranchments all over the province, is a level one branch set in Hebeiprovince by Bank of China. Since HBBC has a system of large scale and wide geographical distribution with 3-tire network architecture, the Hitachi engineers framed a 2-step installation plan. First, the central server in headquarter of Shijiazhuangwas configured, and sub servers are set up at 11 local places as Shijiazhuang, Zhangjiakou, Qinhuangdao, Chengde, Tangshan, Langfang, Baoding, Cangzhou, Hengshui, Xingtaiand Handan, to construct JP1's software trunk system; Second, the 5000 clients were categorized and managed according to locations and groups and taken into the whole system.
