Benchmark Brief for Infor ERP 6.1 on HP Integrity Server Running HP-UX

Overview HP and Infor Global Solutions (Infor) benchmarked an Infor ERPLN implementation with Oracle Database Server 10g R2 (10gR2) on a single HP Integrity rx8640 server running the HP-UX 11i v2 operating system. Conducted as part of the HP and Infor alliance development plan, this benchmark, certified by Infor, validated a scalable, high-performance enterprise solution for customers wishing to consolidate their IT environments and benefit from the proven reliability, manageability, and security of the HP-UX operating environment. One of the main objectives of this benchmark was to characterize the performance of an HP Integrity rx8640 server featuring Dual-Core Intel Itanium 2 processors when deployed as a combined application and database server for ERPLN 6.1.
