Vendor Consolidation: An Opportunity to View IT Through a Single Pane of Glass
Overview IT managers have traditionally avoided becoming "Too involved" with a single vendor, preferring to spread their IT investments among several vendors in order to maintain vendor independence. Reducing the number of vendors necessary to conduct effective IT operations offers the benefits of simplifying both IT infrastructure and the processes needed for IT to do business.
