ODS PDF: It's Not Just for Printing Anymore

Overview As part of the PRINTER family of Output Delivery System (ODS) destinations, ODS PDF is designed to produce high quality printed output from the SAS system. The PDF destination is, however, a unique member of this family. In addition to producing very nice looking printed output, PDFs can have much of the functionality of a Web page, including a linked table of contents, as well as links within the document and between the document and other files. This paper introduces beginners to the syntax used to produce PDF documents, and also throws in some more advanced coding to utilize some of the other useful features of PDF documents as well.
