Overview The IBM Director integration into IBM Tivoli Monitoring provides IBM Director customers with access to the complete Tivoli Enterprise management environment. IBM Tivoli Monitoring is a dynamic, end-to-end monitoring solution for proactively managing the performance and availability of the entire IT infrastructure. It monitors IT resources across the enterprise in an agent-oriented or agent-less fashion. IBM Director customers can perform hardware monitoring on IBM servers today. With this integration, IBM Director customers get access to an extensive end-to-end (zSeries to Windows, Linux, AIX platforms) and top - to-bottom (hardware through resources and transactions to business service based composite applications) monitoring view.
