Asklepios and Intel Solution Services Explore Hospital Performance Improvement With Intel vPro Technology

Overview Asklepios is one of Europe's leading healthcare providers, with a reputation as a pioneer of innovative IT solutions. With numerous hospitals across Germany, each administering its IT environment differently, Asklepios initiated a program called OneIT to centralise the support of the architecture and PC management processes in Hamburg, Germany. Asklepios wanted to transform the way its PCs are managed to reduce deskside visits and save costs while providing improved quality of service. The company worked with Intel Solution Services to assess the use of Intel vPro technology-based desktop PCs using Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 with an Intel-developed Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT) plug-in.
