Overview Profesion + Auge operates in the Argentinian Pensions and Retirement Funds Management market as one of the largest companies in membership growth. Each month, the company's administrative systems need to add 12,000 new members on average, which accounts for an annual increase of 36 percent. Facing this demand for higher data processing power, its computing platform was overloaded: it was necessary to upgrade its technology infrastructure to optimize the operating capacity and ensure service quality. In September 2004, the company started to migrate its core Sun Enterprise 450 platform to two ARM ATICA I4002S 2-way servers based on Intel Itanium 2 processors running RedHat Linux Advanced Server 3 operating system and keeping its Oracle9i database.
