Avaya Case Study: Hamberger Hafen and Lagerhaus-AG

Overview Hamberger Hafen and Lagerhaus-AG (HHLA) operates three container terminals in the Port of Hamburg. The company wanted to network different types of systems while providing a consistent network infrastructure at every HHLA location throughout the state of Bavaria. In addition, improving the availability of staff to colleagues and customers was of key importance. HHLA chose a converged networking solution from Avaya Tenovis that provided multi-channel contact capability through a single interface directly at the users' desktops, provided wireless access capability to improve employee reachability and to integrate call centre and switchboard functions for several corporate locations, enabling faster processing of a larger volume of customer calls.
