The latest addition to the IBM eServer xSeries product line, the IBM eServer xSeries 366 featuring the 64-bit Intel Xeon Processor MP, is versatile servers that can help customers meet the demands of their Oracle implementations. This paper describes a proof-point with a 2-node Oracle Database 10g RAC cluster running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Advanced Server. The workloads used in this proof-point were queries from a decision support system database.

IBM to sell supercomputing server
