On Performance of SCH-OFDMA-CDM in Frequency Selective Indoor Environment

Overview Performance of Sub Carrier Hopped Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access Code Division Multiplexing (SCH-OFDMA-CDM) is analyzed and compared against its non hopping counterpart (OFDMA-CDM) in frequency selective indoor environment. The system model is developed and simulation results for realistic scenarios are presented. These provide guidelines for configuring the system and also indicate the suitability of this scheme for indoor down link over other multi carrier spread spectrum schemes. The outage throughput of SCH-OFDMA-CDM is shown to improve over non hopping OFDMA-CDM scheme in indoor down link for some configurations. The mean throughput of the both schemes is found to be same for both schemes.
