Global Company Saves $1 Million Annually in Phone Charges With Avaya Networked Messaging

Overview Xerox, the digital document company, has for years recognized the value of voice messaging for internal collaboration. To build an IP-based messaging infrastructure, Xerox turned to its outsourcing provider EDS, which subcontracts to Avaya for its clients' voice communication systems. The team proposed installing six Avaya Interchange hubs on the Xerox IP network backbone, each serving about 18 message servers.
