Networking Skills for the Roma Community

Overview The Cisco Networking Academy Program has become part of an important initiative to help Bulgaria's Roma population take its rightful place in the community. The Roma Leadership Institute is an informal gathering of Roma activists - mostly representatives of NGOs (Non-Governmental Organisations) involved in furthering the interests of the Roma community. Between October 2003 and February 2004, the students studied an English course first to ensure everyone had adequate reading comprehension skills, and then completed the four CCNA Courses of the Cisco Networking Academy Program.
