Networking Academy Program Launches Singapore Shipping Coordinator Into Promising New IT Career

Overview At 38 years of age, Khor Kean Hock was in a job that was going nowhere. The routine of his job as coordinator for a shipping company was boring, and his job satisfaction was very low. With the encouragement and support of his wife, he decided to follow his dream by enrolling in the Cisco Networking Academy Program through Singapore's National Trade Union Congress (NTUC). The CNAP is a comprehensive e-learning program that provides students with the Internet technology skills essential in a global economy. He attended classes three times a week, and he spent other nights studying for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam. He now works at HL Integral System Pte. Ltd. as a network engineer, troubleshooting networks for his company's clients.
