Overview New York Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) have facilities in all five boroughs of New York City. The organization needed a solution that would provide standardized e-mail, calendaring and scheduling capabilities across its enterprise, without overburdening the IT staff and creating high maintenance costs. The solution needed to be scalable enough to efficiently process nearly a million messages a month. As a solution New York Health and Hospitals selected Novell NetWare 6, Novell GroupWise 6.5 and Novell Cluster Services to maintain a low cost of ownership, increase corporate security and protect against virus attacks.
