MU-OFDM Power and Subchannel Allocation Performance on DSP

Overview Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) offers an increased data rate capacity in wireless systems by dividing a large amount of bandwidth into smaller, independent subchannels. In order to maximize the capacity of a time-varying channel, wireless transceiver designers often implement adaptive modulation that adjusts transfer parameters such as power distribution, coding and modulation schemes, and signaling bandwidth. One relatively new topic in OFDM is multiuser access to a basestation transmitter. The transmitter assigns a set of subchannels to each user based on the channel response. This channel response depends on multipath delays and position of receiver which the Rayleigh Fading Distribution models.
