Novell Case Study: Eastern Michigan University
Overview Founded in 1849, Eastern Michigan University is a comprehensive university located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Eastern Michigan University wanted to provide its students and faculty with faster access to applications without having to remember multiple passwords. Integrating applications into its SCT Banner portal would provide users with access to multiple applications with a single set of credentials. As a solution the university selected Novell eDirectory to create a single, global directory and Novell Identity Manager to synchronize identities across applications.
