Integramedica Supports Healthy Expansion With SAP and IBM

Overview Founded in 1994, Integramedica S. A. is a leading private Chilean healthcare provider, running one hospital and 14 outpatient centres in Santiago and two other major cities. In preparation for expansion, Integramedica wanted to improve the coordination of medical care and business management across its distributed organizational structure. The company needed to replace two disparate and disconnected information systems with a single set of integrated tools for business and healthcare management. Working with IBM Global Technology Services, SAP, T-Systems and IBM Business Partner Bytetech, Integramedica implemented SAP for Healthcare software, running on an IBM System i5 570 platform, featuring advanced IBM POWER5+ processor technology, using the i5/OS V5R3 operating system, fully hosted by IBM e-business Hosting Services.
