PolyServe Matrix Server With Oracle10g Real Application Clusters on Linux

Overview PolyServe Matrix Server provides key functionality to ease the management of an Oracle10g Real Application Clusters (RAC) installation. This functionality includes the following benefits, which are not available when Oracle10g RAC is used with raw devices. PolyServe Matrix Server also provides significant benefits when compared with alternate file systems such as the Oracle Cluster File System or Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices. PolyServe Matrix Server has been designed to support mission-critical environments with intense workloads and scales to 16 nodes of any size. It is available for both Red Hat and SUSE Linux versions of the operating system. The success of the Oracle10g RAC project is enhanced when implemented in conjunction with PolyServe Matrix Server.
