Digital Media Helps Medical School Save Time, Increase Efficiency
Overview Education Management Solutions (EMS) is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner that creates software and digital audio and video recording systems used by clinical skills educators at medical and allied health colleges. These instructors use EMS digital media solutions to measure students' strengths and weaknesses while also facilitating the entire assessment process. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, an EMS customer, needed to improve the efficiency of its medical student training and evaluation program. The process was time-consuming and required many resources. The school deployed an EMS solution to automate the processes and consolidate operations. As a result, it has eliminated the need for paperwork, accelerated business processes by 70 percent, and reduced employee time on task by 60 percent.
