Overview Many implementations of Web Services exist across multiple platforms and environments. The majority of these share one thing in common - they all use HTTP as the underlying transport. The ubiquitous nature of HTTP has helped Web Services achieve their current level of adoption. Despite this, is HTTP a great fit for every problem?
