IFX Service Orientation Study for Payment Processing

Overview The Interactive Financial Exchange Forum (IFX) was formed as an outgrowth of the OFX consortia many years ago. The IFX Payment Reference is a best practice guide for using industry standards and service orientation. This paper shows how Web services can be architected and granularized from the IFX specification using payment processing as a reference. The reference demonstrates the coordination of service orientation goals with industry standard messaging in the banking sector and illustrates how those messaging models and services can integrate into the BizTalk Server business process orchestrator.
