CipherTrust IronMail Dries Up Spam Deluge for ISP

Overview Spam had become a major concern for AthenetÂ’s customers. There was simply too much spam coming through and customer complaints made it a top priority. Athenet first tried a software-only solution, used by a lot of ISPÂ’s, which was installed on their mail servers but there was simply too much administration involved in making it suit their business. Athenet tried an appliance based content-filtering solution, but the filtering did not deliver the customer satisfaction. CipherTrustÂ’s IronMail product provided Athenet with best-of-breed anti-spam protection, as well as protected email servers and end users from malicious content and attacks.
