National Insurance Carrier: SOA Software Development Process Improvement and Management
Overview The client needed to provide agents with an intelligent interface that integrated critical independent systems, and to revamp legacy claims systems to expedite the claim resolution process. The transition from legacy to new technologies, though, presented several challenges. The client faced a shortage of SOA, and had difficulty understanding the true capabilities of the technologies they were investing in. LiquidHub began by refining the client's software development methodology and working with client project teams to mentor them in service oriented development best practices as they developed Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)-compliant components on the BEA WebLogic platform.
