Township HS District 214 Deploys IP, Wireless to Six High Schools for Big Productivity and Financial Gains

Overview Its successful large Cisco Unified Communications deployments, along with years of IP technology experience, won Cisco Gold Certified Partner Sentinel Technologies a contract with Township High School District 214, located outside Chicago. The district's director of technology wanted to get rid of its 10-year-old Centrex system, and leasing a new system was cost prohibitive. This case study explains how the school district is saving $400,000 a year with Cisco Unified Communications, while providing a platform for applications such as time and attendance. The solution included updating of the wireless infrastructure and deploying 1300 Cisco Unified IP Phones.
