Nu-Vision Technologies Unifies Building Supply Retail Stores With Cisco Unified Communications

Overview For more than 50 years Riverhead Building Supply has provided Long Island's remodeling and building professionals with quality products and services. It was clear to the company's IT manager that Riverhead Building Supply would benefit greatly from a new phone system. Its existing Avaya Private Branch eXchange (PBX) phone system was operating at the company's two primary locations in Riverhead, and each store and warehouse had its own Avaya system. Point-to-point T1 lines ran between locations. The solution suggested by Nu-Vision Technologies d/b/a Black Box Network Services included Cisco Unified CallManager, Cisco Unity voice messaging, and Cisco IPCC CallManager.
