Frans Maas Increases Stability With Unicenter Network and Systems Management
Overview Frans Maas has over 200 branches in more than 35 countries and is therefore one of the larger logistical service providers in Europe. As far as the branch in Venray was concerned, the rapid IT developments at Frans Maas meant that the number of end user systems expanded within a short space of time to 150 permanent workstations and as many Radio Frequency readers. That growth mainly generated problems for the Warehouse Management System (WMS), their core application, which regularly broke down due to the pressure of work. Already a CA customer, Frans Maas Logistics Venray decided to purchase Unicenter Network and Systems Management (Unicenter NSM) and thereby monitor all the company-critical servers, including the WMS.
